Wendy Marvell walked alongside Guild Mage Jason, her steps light and filled with energy. "I bet I can lift you, Jason," she challenged, her eyes glinting with mischief.
Jason chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "No way, Wendy. You're strong, but I'm not that easy to lift," he replied with a teasing grin.
Wendy paused, planting her feet firmly on the ground. "Watch me," she declared confidently. In one swift motion, she hoisted Jason over her shoulder with surprising ease.
Jason gasped, eyes wide with amazement. "Okay, I stand corrected! This is incredible," he exclaimed, laughter bubbling up.
Wendy carried Jason with steady strides, her determination unwavering. "Where are we going?" he asked, still in awe of her strength.
"To the beach, of course! It's the perfect place to celebrate my victory," she replied, her laughter infectious.
Wendy gently set Jason down on the soft sand, both of them grinning from ear to ear. "I have to admit, I didn't see that coming," he confessed, shaking his head in admiration.
"Never underestimate me, Jason," she teased, plopping down beside him to watch the sunset.
Wendy and Jason sat side by side, their laughter fading into a comfortable silence. "This was a good day," he mused, watching the sun slip below the horizon.
"It was. Sometimes it's nice to surprise even yourself," she agreed, her voice soft and content.
Jason turned to Wendy, a newfound respect in his eyes. "Next time, I'll think twice before doubting you," he promised.
"Good. But maybe next time, I'll let you win," she replied with a wink, both of them chuckling as they rose to leave, their footprints trailing behind them in the sand.
