Kira stood atop a hill overlooking the city, the early morning light casting a golden hue over the skyline. His heart swelled with pride as he watched the city come alive, free from the shadows of crime. His friends were beside him, their eyes shining with the same sense of accomplishment. "We've truly made a difference," he said, turning to them with a grin.
The world around Kira changed abruptly. Instead of the vibrant city, he found himself in a dimly lit cell. The air was thick and oppressive, and he could hear the murmur of other prisoners around him. "Where...am I?" he whispered, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings.
A voice, deep and resonant, cut through the silence. The figure of a shinigami emerged, its eyes glowing with a supernatural light. The Shinigami spoke with authority, "You are in the shinigami world prison, Kira. For your attempt to become a Death God King, you are sentenced to eternity here." Kira froze, struggling to comprehend the gravity of the situation.
Kira clenched his fists, anger simmering beneath his confusion. "I won't be trapped here forever. I refuse to accept this!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the stone walls. The Shinigami remained unmoved, a cold smile playing on its lips. "There is no escape, Kira. Eternity awaits you."
Kira jolted awake, his heart pounding. He looked around, relief flooding through him as he realized he was back in his own room. His friends were gathered around, their faces etched with concern. "It was all a dream," he murmured, a laugh bubbling up at the absurdity of it all.
Kira recounted his dream, his laughter infectious. His friends joined in, teasing him good-naturedly about his wild imagination. Together, they stepped out into the sunlight, grateful for the world they had fought to create. As they went about their daily lives, Kira couldn't help but smile, knowing that the real world was exactly where he wanted to be.
