Mira the moose trudged up the stone pathway, her antlers drooping with exhaustion after a long day at the forest mill. The warmth of her home beckoned, promising comfort and respite. She paused at the door, inhaling deeply, before pushing inside with a heavy sigh.
Lukas the wolf, her boyfriend, sprang up from the couch, tail wagging eagerly. With a playful grin, he enveloped Mira in a huge, furry hug, pressing a gentle kiss to her cheek. "Welcome home, Mira! You look wiped out. Come here, let me spoil you," he murmured, squeezing her tight.
Mira slumped into the chair, groaning softly. "You would not believe the day I’ve had. The logs jammed again, and then my supervisor wanted me to work overtime—" She began to vent, her voice echoing her fatigue. Lukas listened with an amused, affectionate gleam in his eye.
Suddenly, Lukas gently slips his hands into Mira's mouth, his touch both tender and playful. "Go ahead and complain, love. I think you could use a special treat tonight," he teased, his voice low and comforting. Mira’s eyes widened in surprise, but she couldn’t help the smile tugging at her lips.
With her mouth full, Mira managed a muffled but heartfelt "Thank you, Lukas. You always know what I need," before swallowing him whole in one smooth motion. The act felt familiar, an intimate ritual between them, filled with trust and affection.
Mira gazed thoughtfully at the flames, her mind already spinning with ideas to spoil Lukas when he reformed. Maybe breakfast in bed, or a moonlit walk by the river. She smiled to herself, feeling the day’s burdens melt away in the glow of shared love and playful devotion.
