Anakin Skywalker stands rigid at the center of the chamber, his eyes stormy with concern. Across from him, Ahsoka Tano shifts her weight anxiously, her lekku twitching with unease. The silence stretches, broken only by the distant hum of traffic below.
"Ahsoka, I know you're hiding something from me. This isn't just about your recent missions—it's personal. I can sense the conflict within you,"
"Anakin, please. I can't… I don't want to drag you into this,"
"I'm already in it, Snips. I need the truth. Who is she?"
Ahsoka draws in a shaky breath. She clenches her fists, her gaze fixed on the floor, as if the pattern of the marble can offer guidance. The words hover on her lips, heavy as a starship.
"It's Poison Ivy. I… I'm in love with her, Anakin. She isn't just a criminal—she's more complicated than anyone knows. And now, she's taken Asher. She’s put him into a coma so she can transform him into the Prince of Green,"
Anakin recoils, confusion and disbelief warring across his face. The weight of this confession presses between them, altering the gravity of the room.
Poison Ivy is ethereal, her skin luminous against the emerald shadows, her hair cascading like a crimson waterfall. The air is humid and thick with the perfume of exotic blossoms. Asher, a young Jedi Padawan, floats in a trance within the pod, his breathing slow and steady.
"Soon, Asher will awaken as the Prince of Green. He will heal this barren city—bring balance to nature,"
She brushes a gentle hand over the glass, her expression both tender and resolute.
Her heart pounds as she watches Ivy, memories of secret encounters and whispered promises flickering through her mind. She fights the ache of betrayal, questioning where her true allegiance lies. The scent of earth and flowers clashes with the metallic tang of duty.
"Pamela, you promised you wouldn’t hurt anyone. This isn’t the way,"
"Ahsoka, love sometimes demands sacrifice. Trust me—Asher will be reborn, and together, we can make the galaxy bloom,"
The air crackles with energy as Anakin pushes forward, his determination cutting through the verdant haze. Ahsoka moves to intercept him, torn between loyalty to her master and her feelings for Ivy.
"Get away from Asher, Ivy! I won't let you use him as your pawn,"
"Anakin, stop! If you hurt her, you’ll destroy everything I care about,"
"Neither of you understands. The Force and the Green—together, they could change worlds,"
With a trembling voice, Ahsoka pleads for peace, her words echoing in the silent chamber. The vines loosen their hold on Asher’s pod, releasing him into the care of his friends. Ivy’s eyes meet Ahsoka’s, love and grief swirling in their depths.
"Pamela, I love you, but I can’t let you hurt innocent people. There must be another way for us to be together—one that doesn’t cost someone else their life,"
"Perhaps... for you, Ahsoka, I will try,"
An uneasy truce settles over the garden, the first fragile bloom of hope unfurling in the darkness.
