Lumi gazed enviously at the larger stars, their brilliance illuminating the cosmos with effortless grandeur. "If only I could shine as brightly," she mused, her light dim in comparison but her spirit undeterred.
"Why the long face, little star?" the Old Comet asked, slowing its journey to a halt beside her.
"I wish I could shine like the giants," Lumi confessed, her voice a whisper amidst the vast sky.
"Every star has a purpose, no matter its size," the Old Comet explained, its voice deep and soothing. "Sometimes, it's not about how brightly you shine, but whom you illuminate."
The Traveler closed his eyes, making a wish upon Lumi, hoping for guidance. "Lead me home," he whispered, his breath visible in the crisp night air.
"I can do this," Lumi realized, her confidence growing as she watched the Traveler find his way. Her purpose was clear, her light a guide through the darkness.
Lumi now understood that her light, though small, was powerful. "Even the tiniest star can guide someone home," she thought, contentment washing over her as she embraced her role in the cosmos.
