Risë Hickey stands at the edge of the deck, her heart alight with anticipation and a touch of fear. From within the mist, a figure emerges, the ethereal presence of Michael Jackson, his eyes sparkling with warmth and familiarity.
"Truth to say, it's been quite a while, Risë. Don’t you miss me?"
Risë feels an overwhelming surge of emotion, tears threatening to spill. "More than you know," she sings in response, her voice a melody of longing.
"Then jump in the water & kiss me," Michael's voice is a gentle coaxing, a promise of safety in the depths.
Risë hesitates, memories of a near-drowning incident flashing through her mind. "Michael, I’ve never told you this before, it's just that I’m afraid of the water," she admits, her voice trembling with vulnerability.
"Fear not. I’ll make sure that you are safe & sound, come play with me & our daughter, & let’s watch our love leave the ground," Michael reassures her, his tone imbued with an unwavering confidence.
Risë gazes at the water, torn between love and fear. "Oh, as good as it sounds, right here I’m just fine," she sings, her resolve wavering.
"I would take the suffering from you," Michael's promise lingers in the air, a soothing balm to her anxieties.
Risë finally concedes, "Fine, but only if you answer a question or two," her curiosity piqued by the challenge ahead.
"Let’s say I'd be on the run or hiding from Poseidon, but it turns out he blocked the way home with giant waves & storms," Risë ventures, her imagination painting a vivid picture of peril.
Michael listens intently, his expression thoughtful. "True, he might chase you high & low, so you should find a place that he’d never go; the one way your crew'd get home is sailing where he's scared to roam, oh, it’s through the lair of Scylla," he reveals, his words a map to safety.
Risë shivers at the thought of Scylla, "True, but Scylla has a cost," she cautions, weighing the risks.
"Michael, why? You know I'm so shy though not terrified," Risë confesses, her voice a soft plea.
"I would take the suffering from you," Michael assures, his determination unwavering.
"Oh, for you, I would die, but can't you let me stay dry?" Risë bargains, her heart caught between love and fear.
Michael steps closer, "I will take the suffering from you," he promises, his presence a comforting embrace.
Risë feels a rush of freedom as she transforms into a mermaid, her fears dissolving in the vibrant beauty of the ocean. Beside her, Michael, now an Archangel, envelops her in a protective embrace.
The dreamlike adventure unfolds, the couple gliding through coral gardens and past playful Merrows. "Ah, the things I do for you," Risë muses, her heart full of gratitude and love.
As the dream fades, the scene shifts back to the tranquil bedroom in Neverland Valley Ranch. Risë smiles tenderly at her husband, Michael Jackson, as the curtains gently close on their magical journey.
