Supergirl lay in a dimly lit chamber, her skin pale and translucent under the harsh fluorescent lights. A cruel smile played on Lex Luthor's lips as he watched the effects of the kryptonite serum take hold. He adjusted his glasses, turning away from the monitors to face her.
"This is merely the beginning, Supergirl. Your suffering will herald a new era," he taunted, his voice a low growl echoing in the sterile silence of the room.
"We have to act quickly. There's no telling how long she can withstand the kryptonite," Superman urged, his eyes burning with resolve.
"I'll scout ahead and find the best entry point," Arrow replied, his voice calm yet tense with urgency.
Flash nodded, his foot tapping impatiently. "Let's make this fast. We can't fail her now," he added, the rain streaking down his crimson suit.
Arrow moved silently, his arrows striking with unfaltering accuracy, disabling cameras and guards with swift, precise shots. Flash blurred past, a streak of red lightning, incapacitating any remaining defenses before they could react.
Superman followed, his presence a silent promise of hope and strength. "We're close. I can sense her heartbeat," he announced, his voice filled with a fierce protectiveness.
Lex Luthor turned slowly, his expression a mix of surprise and disdain. "Ah, the cavalry arrives. But you're too late," he sneered, gesturing towards Supergirl's frail form.
"You underestimate our will to protect our own, Lex," Superman retorted, stepping forward, his presence dominating the room.
Superman gently lifted Supergirl, his touch tender yet filled with urgency. "Hang on, Kara. We're getting you out of here," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm.
Flash quickly deactivated the restraint mechanisms, while Arrow kept a vigilant eye on Luthor, ready to act at a moment's notice.
Flash guided them through the labyrinth, his speed a guiding light in the chaos. Arrow provided cover, his arrows finding their mark with unerring precision.
Finally, they emerged into the open, the fresh air invigorating. Superman flew upwards, cradling Supergirl gently, his heart swelling with relief as they soared towards safety, leaving the shadows of LexCorp behind.
