Elena hesitated, her fingers trembling as she reached for the glowing edge of the portal. The world seemed to tilt, colors bending and distorting until she was pulled through with a gasp. She landed hard on a sidewalk paved with oversized bricks, surrounded by towering lampposts and benches large enough to seat a dozen people. Everything seemed impossibly huge, and she realized with growing dread that she was now a "little" in an unfamiliar, upsized world.
Elena watched in awe as "Amazons," people at least three times her height, strode purposefully along the avenue. Their voices boomed, echoing from glass towers, while nearby "littles" hurried through the crowd, wary and anxious. She spotted a group of littles clustered together, whispering nervously as an Amazon approached. "Why are they so afraid?" she wondered aloud, her voice barely audible beneath the giants' laughter.
Ms. Grindle, an Amazon with sharp features and a stern expression, towered over Elena. Her voice was low but commanding. "You seem lost, little one. Do you need help—or perhaps a caretaker?" Elena backed away, her heart pounding, desperate to escape. She realized that the threat was real: Amazons often took littles and treated them as babies, stripping them of their independence.
Elena darted beneath a giant slide, weaving between swings that hung like pendulums. She ducked into a hollow beneath a massive climbing frame, breathing hard as Ms. Grindle searched nearby. "I have to find a way out of here," Elena whispered, her resolve strengthening.
Tommy, a resourceful little with quick wit and bright eyes, offered Elena a hand. "Stick with us. We know how to avoid Amazons. There's a network of safe houses, and maybe, just maybe, a way home." Elena felt a flicker of hope, listening as Tommy explained the rules of the diaper dimension and how to survive.
Elena gazed up at the moon, her determination unwavering. Though the threat of Amazons lingered, she had allies and a plan. "I won't let them turn me into a baby. I'll find a way back—and help others along the way," she vowed, ready to face whatever challenges the diaper dimension held.
