Li Wei sat in the back row, staring at the chalkboard, his mind elsewhere. The classroom was empty now, save for the faint echo of laughter from the corridor. "I hope no one finds it," he murmured, thinking of his forgotten diary, lying vulnerable in the open.
Li Wei slipped through the shadows, heart pounding. He crept along the familiar path, each step a silent promise to retrieve what was his. The school loomed large and silent, a fortress of memories and untold stories. "Just get in and out," he whispered to himself, eyes darting nervously.
Li Wei found his way to the library, his sanctuary. He ran his fingers over the spines of books, seeking knowledge he could not afford. His eyes fell on an ancient tome, its leather cover worn and mysterious. As he opened it, a soft glow emanated from the pages, lifting gently into the air. "What is this?" he gasped, as mana flowed around him, pulling him into a world unknown.
Li Wei awoke in a body that was not his own. He stood amidst a forest, clad in armor that shimmered under the sunlight. He stumbled to a nearby stream, peering into the water to find an unfamiliar face staring back. "Fenghao," he breathed, recognizing the legendary knight from his mother's tales.
Li Wei moved through the village, absorbing the sights and sounds of a place that felt strangely familiar yet new. As he pondered his situation, a voice interrupted his thoughts. "You are in my body, young one," the voice of Fenghao echoed in his mind, calm and reassuring. "Together, we shall learn and protect this world."
Li Wei stood at the edge of the castle grounds, the horizon stretching before him. He felt a surge of power and purpose, a connection to Fenghao and the world he was now part of. "This is only the beginning," he whispered, determination in his voice. The journey ahead was uncertain, but he was ready to embrace it, one step at a time.
