Sun gleamed with anticipation, his rays casting a golden glow over the landscape. Moon, serene and gentle, reflected the light with a soft, silvery sheen. Wind danced impatiently, eager to rush to their uncles’ celebration.
"I can already taste the delights awaiting us," Sun declared, his eyes sparkling with eagerness.
"Race you to the feast!" Wind challenged, swirling around his siblings in a playful gust.
"Let us enjoy the evening, but remember our mother, the Star, awaits our return," Moon reminded, her voice as soothing as a lullaby.
Thunder and Lightning welcomed their guests with booming laughter and brilliant flashes. The feast was laid out with an abundance of celestial treats—cakes that sparkled like stardust, fruits imbued with the colors of dawn, and beverages that shimmered like liquid silver.
"Eat, drink, and be merry, dear nieces and nephews!" Thunder bellowed, his voice echoing across the heavens.
"Let the celebration begin!" Lightning chimed in, her presence as electrifying as her name.
"This cake is divine!" Sun exclaimed, reaching for another slice as his golden aura brightened with delight.
"Try this fruit, Sun. It's like tasting the sunrise!" Wind urged, his voice carrying a hint of mischief as he devoured the celestial bounty.
Meanwhile, Moon, ever thoughtful, savored her meal in quiet contemplation, tucking away small portions beneath her luminous fingers for their mother.
Star beamed lovingly as her children returned. Her gaze lingered on them, searching for signs of remembrance.
"My dear children, what have you brought for me?" Star inquired, her voice carrying both warmth and expectation.
"I didn’t bring you anything, Mother. I was there to have fun, not to fetch food!" Sun replied, his brightness undiminished by his admission.
"Me neither, Mother. I was too busy enjoying myself to think about you," Wind added, his tone carefree.
Moon, however, stepped forward with a gentle smile.
"Mother, I saved something for you," Moon said, revealing the delicacies she had saved.
"Because you were selfish and forgot me, Sun, your light will always be burning hot and scorching. People will hide from you and seek shade when you shine," Star decreed.
"And you, Wind, because you also forgot me, you will blow hot and dry, and people will dislike you when you pass by," she continued, her voice steady.
Finally, she turned to Moon, her smile warm and proud.
"My dear daughter, because you remembered me and shared your joy, you will shine cool and gentle. People will look up at you with love and admire your soft, beautiful light," Star blessed, bestowing her favor.
The Sun blazed fiercely, a beacon of warmth and light. The Wind swept across the earth, his presence felt but often unwelcome. And Moon glowed with a gentle luminescence, her light a source of comfort and wonder for all who gazed upon her.
Thus, the celestial siblings learned the enduring impact of their choices, a lesson etched into the fabric of the universe forever.
