Hasan, known as "The Clever Hasan," skillfully carved intricate designs into a wooden chest. Despite the lively atmosphere, his mind wandered to the royal decree announced by the king. The promise of half the kingdom swirled in his thoughts, tempting him with dreams of grandeur. "Perhaps I can be the one to cure the princess," he mused, determination sparkling in his eyes.
Hasan knew the challenge held grave consequences. Yet, the allure of adventure and the chance to help Princess Zamorodah urged him forward. With a deep breath, he decided to embark on this perilous journey. "I must at least try," he resolved, as he prepared his horse for the journey to the palace.
The crone, her eyes twinkling with an ancient wisdom, caught Hasan’s attention. "Give me something from what God has blessed you with, my son," she pleaded, her voice like the rustle of leaves. Intrigued, Hasan offered her a few coins, curious about the secret she promised to unveil.
The old woman handed Hasan a tattered hat, whispering its mysterious powers. "When you meet the princess, place this hat between you and her," she instructed. Though puzzled, Hasan felt a glimmer of hope and continued his journey, clutching the hat like a precious talisman.
Hasan was awestruck by the princess’s beauty, her silent presence commanding the room. He spoke gently, but her silence persisted. Remembering the old woman's words, he placed the hat on the table between them, hoping for a miracle.
The enchanted hat greeted the princess warmly, its voice echoing through the hall. As it spun a story of adventure and bravery, the court watched in amazement. Princess Zamorodah's eyes sparkled with newfound light, and as the tale unfolded, she began to speak, her voice like a melody that filled the room.
The king, overwhelmed with gratitude, embraced Hasan and declared the kingdom's new hero. "You have restored my daughter’s voice and brought joy back to our hearts," he proclaimed, fulfilling his promise to Hasan. The clever carpenter, now a prince, smiled at the princess, knowing they had both been blessed by the magic of the enchanted hat.
