Jacob Joseph, a lanky 16-year-old with short black hair and captivating green eyes, adjusted his blue hoodie. He was surrounded by a group of friends, each laughing at his latest joke. "You should have seen Sally's face when I said I’d dance with her," he chuckled, unaware that Sally stood just around the corner, listening.
Jacob found Sally sitting on a bench, her expression a mixture of hurt and annoyance. "I'm sorry, Sally. I didn’t mean to embarrass you," he said sincerely. Unbeknownst to him, a cheeky witch named Morgana watched from the shadows, her eyes gleaming mischievously.
Morgana raised her hand, a soft glow emanating from her fingertips. "Let him know the weight of his words. By day, a girl named Sophie, by night, himself," she chanted, her voice carried away by the night breeze.
Jacob awoke with a start, feeling different. Staring back at him from the mirror was a girl with long black hair and striking blue eyes, dressed in orange clothes. "What happened to me?" Jacob—now Sophie—exclaimed in disbelief.
Sophie sat alone, her mind racing with thoughts of how to reverse the curse. Her friends, not recognizing her, chatted nearby. "I have to find a way to end this," she murmured, determined to seek out Morgana and lift the curse.
Jacob, back to his original self, combed through ancient volumes, hoping to find a solution. He stumbled upon a book about curses and magical reversals, his heart racing with hope. "The masquerade ball is my best chance," he thought, formulating a plan to confront Morgana and reclaim his identity.
