Wyatt Bob, a 10-year-old boy with orange short hair, green eyes, fair skin, and blue clothes, sat cross-legged on his bed, flipping through a comic book. The summer morning light danced across his room, making his bright hair almost glow. Outside, birds chirped and the gentle hum of lawnmowers filled the air, promising a day like any other—until a strange tingling pulsed through the air.
A whirl of iridescent light suddenly erupted in the middle of the room. From the center stepped Jacob James, a 16-year-old with short black hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and dressed in vibrant green robes. He clutched a slender wand adorned with faint, glowing strands spiraling to the tip. "I’m sorry, but I need your help! Something magical has gone wrong at my school," he pleaded, looking directly at the stunned Wyatt.
Wyatt felt his body pulled forward, his vision swimming with swirling colors. An electric current zipped through his limbs as his reflection warped in the nearby mirror—he now wore green robes, taller and older, his orange hair replaced by jet-black locks. Jacob, blinking in surprise, looked down at his smaller, blue-clad form and gasped. "Whoa... I'm you? This is wild!" "And I’m... ten? This is going to be complicated," Jacob replied, shaking his head.
The portal shimmered again, transporting Wyatt—now in Jacob’s body—into the heart of Jacob’s wizard school. The corridors buzzed with chattering students, robes of every color billowing as they glided up glowing ramps or hovered in the magical elevator. The walls shimmered with moving murals, and wands sparkled in every hand, each one humming softly with the owner’s unique DNA. "Okay, act normal... how hard can wizard school be?" he muttered, clutching Jacob’s wand nervously.
Wyatt, feeling out of place, tried to blend in as older students greeted him with nods. A professor with a pointed hat approached, scrutinizing him. Professor Willowmere, Head of Magical Security, tall with silver hair and robes stitched with moving constellations, leaned in. "Jacob, your DNA wand is glowing—are you feeling alright?" "Yes! I mean, just excited to try... um, levitation again," Wyatt stammered, waving the wand as it vibrated with warmth, responding only to his new DNA.
Meanwhile, in Wyatt’s body, Jacob marveled at the simplicity of the suburban world, missing the hum of magic but appreciating its calm. After struggling through a day of classes, Wyatt finally found Jacob again through a hastily conjured portal. "I never realized how hard it is to be a kid... or how much responsibility a wizard has," Jacob admitted. "Let’s swap back before we mess things up even more!" Wyatt agreed, both smiling as they began the reversal spell.
With a final flash of light, the swap reversed, leaving Wyatt back in his blue clothes, orange hair wild, and Jacob straightening his green robes. The air was charged with newfound respect and understanding. "If you ever need help again... magical or not, you know where to find me," Wyatt said, grinning. "And next time, maybe just a visit—not a swap," Jacob laughed, stepping back through the portal as the last rays of sunlight filled the room with gold.
