Finn, the clumsy wizard's assistant, fumbled with an ancient spell book. His hands trembled as he mispronounced the incantation, a swirl of blue sparks dancing in the air. "Oops... that didn't sound right," he muttered, watching in horror as the royal family, who had been visiting the tower, began to transform into ducks.
Finn darted through the chaos, narrowly avoiding a collision with Elara, the kitchen maid known for her quick wit and rebellious spirit. "What have you done, Finn?" she gasped, dodging a waddling duck in a royal crown.
"We need to reverse this before the Grand Solstice Ceremony," Finn said, desperation coloring his voice. Elara, her eyes alight with determination, replied, "Let's head to the enchanted swamp; there might be a remedy there."
Finn and Elara navigated the swamp, their footsteps squelching in the mud. Suddenly, they were confronted by mischievous sprites, their laughter echoing like wind chimes. "You seek the antidote?" a sprite teased, flitting around them.
Finn pleaded with the sprites, "Please, we need your help to fix my mistake." Elara joined, her voice steady, "And we promise to repay your kindness." The sprites exchanged glances before nodding in agreement, offering a vial of sparkling liquid.
Finn carefully sprinkled the potion over the ducks, holding his breath as magic shimmered in the air. One by one, the royal family regained their human forms, bewildered but unharmed. Elara grinned, "Looks like the ceremony will go on as planned."
