Lady Knight Dora, clad in shining armor with a purple plume, tiptoes down the corridor beside Mike the knight, whose blue shield trembles in his grip, and Nella the princess knight, her tiara glinting as she clutches her sword. Suddenly, a ghostly shape glides from a darkened doorway, casting a pale, shimmering glow. A hollow moan echoes, freezing the trio in their tracks.
"Did you see that? I think it's a real ghost!"
"Let's get out of here before it catches us!"
"Run!"
Heart pounding, Lady Knight Dora leads the way, her breath quick and fearful. Mike the knight trips over a loose stone, but Nella catches his arm, pulling him onward. Behind them, the ghostly figure floats silently, its eyes glowing eerily in the gloom.
"We have to find someone who can help us!"
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_4], his orange helmet shining under the overhead lights.]
Lady Knight Dora gasps for breath, cheeks flushed with fright. She explains their ghostly encounter, her voice quivering. Geo Umizoomi listens intently, tapping his chin and frowning in thought.
"Geo, we need your help! There's a ghost in the castle, and we barely escaped!"
"Don't worry! I have a feeling there’s more to this mystery. Let’s investigate together."
Geo Umizoomi scans the dust with his magnifying glass, noticing a trail of small, muddy footprints. Nella spots a torn piece of white cloth caught on a suit of armor. Lady Knight Dora shivers as a cold breeze wafts through the hallway.
"Look at these clues! I don't think this ghost is what it seems."
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_4] steps forward confidently. The ghost’s sheet is snagged on a candelabra, revealing a pair of familiar boots underneath.]
Mike the knight yanks off the white sheet, and everyone gasps to see Sir Reginald, the mischievous castle jester, grinning sheepishly. His face is smudged with flour, and he holds a jar of glow-in-the-dark paint.
"I just wanted to play a prank! I promise I didn’t mean to scare anyone so badly."
Lady Knight Dora pats Sir Reginald on the back, forgiving his prank. Mike the knight and Nella recount the night’s adventure with grins, while Geo Umizoomi explains how teamwork and clever thinking solved the mystery. The castle feels safe and warm once more, the ghostly fears replaced by newfound friendship.
"Next time, let's hope for a little less excitement—and a lot more pancakes!"
