King Frog sat on his throne, a large, flat rock by the pond's edge, his regal eyes surveying the tranquil scene. Beside him stood Gloria the Unicorn, her silvery mane shimmering in the twilight. "These are peaceful times, my friend," he croaked, "but we must remain vigilant."
Gloria lowered her head, her horn glowing softly as she focused on the disturbance. "I sense something amiss, Your Majesty," she murmured. King Frog narrowed his eyes, "Prepare yourself, we may have an unwelcome visitor."
Ferdinand the Fox, with his sleek red fur and cunning smile, stepped into the clearing. "Good evening, King Frog," he spoke smoothly. King Frog remained calm, "State your business, Ferdinand," he commanded.
"I come with a proposal," Ferdinand said, pacing slowly. Gloria raised an eyebrow, skeptical of the fox's intentions. King Frog listened intently, "We value our peace, Ferdinand. Your words must be sincere." The fox chuckled, "Peace can be maintained through strength, Your Majesty."
King Frog stood tall, "Your offer is tempting, but we will defend our land with honor, not deceit," he declared. Gloria nodded in agreement, her horn glowing brighter. Ferdinand sighed, acknowledging the resolve in King Frog's voice.
"Very well, King Frog. Until we meet again," Ferdinand said, retreating into the shadows. King Frog watched him go, "Let this be a lesson, Gloria. Our strength lies in unity and truth." Gloria nodded, "And we shall always protect our home."
