Maya and Liam lounge comfortably, their feet tangled in a friendly tussle over the remote resting on the coffee table. The room feels alive with their playful energy, interrupted only by the occasional snuffle from Max the puppy.
"Hey Maya, pass me the remote, will you? Or do you think you could just levitate it over here?"
"Levitate? Please, if I had that power, I’d never leave the couch!"
Maya[/@ch_1] jokingly raises her hand. Suddenly, the remote shudders, floats gently off the table, and glides straight into her palm. Both friends freeze, eyes wide, as dust motes swirl around the levitating object.]
"Did you just… did you see that? The remote just moved! Maya, what did you do?"
"I have no idea! I just thought about it, and it happened! Liam, this is insane!"
Liam stares at Maya's hand, as if expecting to see sparks or magic swirling around her fingers.
Liam[/@ch_2] grabs a cushion.]
"Try the cushion, Maya. If you can move that, we’re definitely onto something."
"Alright, here goes nothing."
Maya focuses, and the cushion trembles, then floats shakily across the room, landing softly beside Max the puppy, who lets out a confused bark.
Maya[/@ch_1] and Liam experiment with their newfound ability.]
"This is unbelievable! Imagine the possibilities. No more lost keys, Maya!"
"Or cleaning up without lifting a finger! But why me? Why now?"
Liam grins, tossing a game piece into the air, which Maya catches mid-flight with a flick of her wrist.
Max the puppy[/@ch_3] bounces around, chasing floating objects, barking gleefully as his chew toy dances out of reach. The friends laugh, their worries forgotten, enveloped in the surreal magic of the moment.]
"Max is having the time of his life! Maybe he wants to levitate too."
"Careful, Maya, we don’t want him floating out the window!"
Maya giggles, gently lowering Max’s toy back onto his paws.
"What do you think this means, Maya? Do you think it’ll last?"
"I don’t know, Liam. But whatever it is, let’s promise to use it for good—and maybe for a little fun."
Max the puppy curls up beside them, as if sensing the magic hidden in the quiet of the evening.
