Maddie[/@ch_1], a chubby teen whose round face often fools strangers into thinking she’s much younger. Her expression is a mixture of boredom and impatience, with her uncle gone for the week and nothing but chores left behind.]
"Why does Uncle always leave me with the boring stuff? He never lets me touch the cool things," Maddie grumbled, glancing resentfully at the dusty spellbook sitting atop the coffee table. She hesitated, then snatched it up, her curiosity overpowering her frustration.
"Let’s see what happens if I try this one… ‘Expandum Bellium’… sounds harmless enough," she muttered. Suddenly, her belly began to swell, growing round and soft, until it stretched the seams of her t-shirt. Maddie gasped, her cheeks flushing with both shock and delight. She touched her new shape, then blushed, finding the sensation oddly pleasant.
"This actually feels kind of nice… but Uncle will freak out if he sees me like this," Maddie mused, anxiety creeping in as she realized how much trouble she was in. She attempted to cover herself with oversized shirts and pillows, but nothing could hide her magically enhanced belly.
Mr. Caldwell[/@ch_2], a tall, stern man with graying hair and a sharp gaze, appears at the gate, spellbook in hand.]
"Maddie, what have you done? That spellbook is not a toy!" he barked, alarmed by her appearance. Maddie’s eyes widened, and she bolted towards the pool, determined to avoid punishment.
"Come here so I can fix this, Maddie," Mr. Caldwell pleaded.
"No way! I like how I feel. I don’t want to go back!" Maddie shouted, a mix of defiance and fear in her voice. She paddled away, determined to keep her new shape, despite the consequences.
"Oh no… The spell must have backfired," Mr. Caldwell groaned, worry etched on his face.
"Well… I guess I’m stuck like this for now. At least the pool’s big enough for me!" Maddie laughed, splashing water everywhere, her anger melting into amusement. Despite the chaos, she realized that sometimes, the best magic was just embracing who she was—spellbook mishaps and all.
