Eldarion stirred in his bed, the soft snoring of his companion, Flick, a small, orange fox, tickling his ear.
"Wake up, Flick. I have a feeling we’re late again,"
The fox yawned in response, stretching its paws before hopping onto Eldarion’s shoulder.
Malakar the Cunning, the evil wizard, had cast a powerful spell, imprisoning all within the school except for Eldarion and Flick, who had accidentally been overlooked.
"Where is everyone?"
Eldarion wondered aloud, his voice echoing through the empty halls. Flick sniffed the ground, its ears twitching in nervous anticipation.
Eldarion noticed a magical barrier shimmering at the entrance, pulsating with a dark energy.
"This is Malakar the Cunning’s doing,"
Flick chattered, its eyes fierce with determination.
"We need to break the spell and free everyone,"
Eldarion declared, his mind racing with potential solutions.
Eldarion and Flick pored over dusty books, searching for a counter-spell.
"There must be something here that can help us,"
Eldarion muttered, flipping through pages filled with arcane symbols.
"Look here, Eldarion!"
Flick exclaimed, its paw pointing to a spell of dispelling.
Malakar the Cunning appeared, his dark robes billowing ominously, a cruel smile playing on his lips.
"You cannot defeat me, boy,"
he taunted.
"I’m not alone,"
Eldarion retorted, his voice steady as Flick leapt forward, weaving illusions to distract the evil wizard.
Eldarion, with Flick by his side, watched as teachers and students emerged from their imprisonment, their expressions one of grateful relief.
"We did it, Flick. We saved them,"
Eldarion sighed, feeling the weight of the night's events lift from his shoulders.
"And we did it together,"
Flick added, its eyes twinkling with pride.
