Maddy, a chubby teenage girl with pigtails and a perpetually disgruntled pout, lounges on the couch in her uncle’s absence. Her cheeks are flushed with curiosity as she eyes the spellbook left behind by her uncle, an amateur wizard. All is quiet except for the occasional creak of the house settling and the hum of Maddy’s imagination running wild.
"He always told me not to touch his things. But I’m in charge now, aren’t I? Just one little peek," she mutters, sliding the spellbook closer. As she flips through the pages, her fingers tingle with anticipation. The multicolored runes seem to glow, tempting her to try something—anything—that breaks the monotony of her week alone.
Without reading too carefully, Maddy recites a spell, her voice shaky but determined. Suddenly, a sparkling vortex erupts from the book, swirling around her belly and making it expand with a gentle, tingling sensation. Her stomach grows rounder and softer, ballooning out until her shirt rides up and her shorts strain at the seams.
"Oh, wow… It’s… kinda nice?" she whispers, blushing at the unexpected comfort. She gazes at her reflection in the hallway mirror, marveling at her new, cuddly shape. Yet, a flicker of panic crosses her face as she realizes the consequences—her uncle will be furious if he finds out.
Maddy grins mischievously and snatches the animated bikini, pulling it over her magically enlarged belly. The bikini giggles and adjusts itself, perfectly supporting her new shape. She twirls in front of the mirror, admiring the bright colors and the way her belly jiggles with every movement.
"If I’m gonna get in trouble, might as well look fabulous," she laughs, though a nervous edge lingers in her voice. She ponders how she’ll explain this to her uncle, thoughts racing as she tries to concoct a believable story. The walls seem to close in, her anxiety growing as the clock ticks toward her uncle’s return.
Maddy paces nervously, mumbling to herself. She hears the familiar sound of her uncle’s car in the driveway and freezes, clutching a pillow in front of her belly. The door creaks open, and her uncle steps in, stopping dead in his tracks at the sight of his niece’s unusual predicament.
Uncle Theo, a tall man with wild gray hair and an ever-present twinkle in his eye, surveys the scene with a mix of shock and exasperation. "Maddy, what have you done to yourself? That spellbook is not a toy!"
Maddy tears away from her uncle, giggling and wobbling as she sprints to the pool. She dives in, her belly bouncing and sending up a cascade of shimmering water. Uncle Theo follows, waving his wand and muttering spells under his breath.
"Hold still, Maddy! I can fix this!" he calls, but Maddy shakes her head stubbornly. "No way! I like it!" The spell fizzles as he tries to reverse it, but instead, her belly grows even bigger, sending waves splashing over the pool’s edge.
Uncle Theo sighs, sinking onto a pool chair as Maddy floats contentedly in her magically enhanced state. He finally cracks a reluctant smile, watching his niece’s stubborn joy. "You know, when I said you were in charge, I didn’t mean of the magic," he chuckles.
"Guess you’ll have to write a new spell just for me, Uncle," Maddy replies, her anger forgotten in the moonlit water. The night stretches on, filled with splashes, laughter, and the promise of more magical mischief—once they figure out how to shrink her back down, that is.
