In the days of old, Caw, a raven with feathers as blue as the deepest ocean, and Kra, a crow adorned in vibrant reds and yellows, soared through the sky. They were known not only for their beauty but also their sharp wit. Yet, their hearts were not as bright as their plumage, for they often mocked other birds for their dull colors.
"Look at those drab sparrows," Caw scoffed, his voice echoing through the trees. "Indeed, they should learn from us, the true beauties of the sky," Kra added with a sneer. Their laughter carried far, reaching the ears of Solaria, the Sun Goddess, who watched over the world from her fiery throne.
"Such arrogance will not go unchecked," Solaria declared, her voice a gentle yet firm whisper in the wind. With a wave of her radiant hand, she unleashed a beam of light so intense that it enveloped Caw and Kra, stripping away their colors one by one, leaving behind only the deepest black.
"What has happened to us?" Kra gasped, glancing at his once colorful wings now turned dark as night. "It is a lesson," Caw realized, his voice tinged with regret. Solaria had shown them the folly of their vanity and cruelty.
Caw and Kra sat in silence, contemplating their transformation. "We must change our ways," Caw said softly. "Yes, let us be kind and learn from our past," Kra agreed. Together, they vowed to protect and cherish their fellow birds, embracing their new roles as guardians of the skies.
From that day forward, Caw and Kra, now known as the goth birds, became symbols of change and humility. Though their feathers remained black, their spirits shone with a kindness that lit up the heavens, reminding all creatures of the power of compassion and the beauty of inner strength.
