Mabel lay sprawled on an old carpet, her laughter echoing against the rafters. A mischievous tickle belt had wrapped itself around her waist, its feathers relentless. "Dipper! Help!" she gasped between giggles, but her words were swallowed by laughter.
Dipper, oblivious to his sister's plight, sat cross-legged in a corner, engrossed in an ancient tome. The pages whispered secrets of the supernatural, but Dipper's focus never wavered from the cryptic text.
Mabel writhed on the floor, tears of laughter streaming down her cheeks. Her attempts to remove the belt only seemed to make it tickle more. "Dipper, seriously!" she managed to shout, her voice rising above the attic's eerie silence.
Dipper finally looked up, his brow furrowed. "Did you say something, Mabel?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity but unaware of the chaos unfolding nearby.
Dipper glanced around, noticing Mabel for the first time. His eyes widened as he saw her predicament. "Mabel! What happened?" he exclaimed, scrambling to his feet.
Mabel could barely speak, her laughter punctuated by breathless gasps. "This... belt... won't stop!" she managed, pointing at the tickle belt with a shaking hand.
Dipper knelt beside Mabel, examining the belt with the keen eye of a budding paranormal investigator. "Hang on, Mabel. I think I read something about this," he said, flipping through his book with urgency.
Mabel nodded, her laughter subsiding slightly as she watched her brother work. "Hurry, Dipper. I can't take much more!"
Dipper recited the incantation with precision, his voice steady as the belt's feathers gradually stilled. "There! That should do it," he said, relief evident in his tone.
Mabel sat up, breathing heavily but grateful. "Thanks, Dipper. That was a close one," she said, a smile tugging at her lips despite the ordeal.
Dipper chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I guess we should be more careful with these artifacts," he remarked, glancing at Mabel with a fond grin.
Mabel nodded, still catching her breath. "Yeah, but where's the fun in that?" she replied, laughter bubbling up once more, this time free of any magical influence.
