King Tiong Gomba stood on the balcony of his palace, gazing fondly at the kingdom below. His eyes softened as he thought of his beloved daughter, Putri Ayang, whose laughter was the kingdom's joy.
"My dear, is there anything you wish for today?"
Putri Ayang, with her long black hair and radiant smile, approached her father. "Father, I wish for a grand pool to bathe in, where I can see the sky and the mountains reflected in the water."
King Tiong Gomba watched as the workers completed the pool, his heart swelling with pride. The pool was a masterpiece, a testament to his love for Putri Ayang.
"This pool shall be a place of joy and reflection," he declared, unaware of the shadow that loomed over their happiness.
The path was blocked by a great crocodile, its eyes gleaming with ancient wisdom. King Tiong Gomba ordered his soldiers to investigate the beast.
"If you are truly powerful, visit Mount Pararawen where my daughter bathes," he challenged the crocodile, unaware of the peril his words would unleash.
But beneath the water, danger lurked. The crocodile, compelled by the king's words, struck with ferocity. Putri Ayang's cries echoed through the mountains as the pool turned crimson.
King Tiong Gomba rushed back to the palace, his mind racing with fear and regret. The truth awaited him there, a truth that shattered his world.
"Oh, what have I done?" he lamented, tears streaming down his face.
King Tiong Gomba sought redemption, his soul burdened by guilt. In his solitude, he discovered the mystical power of Mount Pararawen, a power that offered a glimpse into the forgotten past.
And so, the kingdom of Pararawen faded into legend, its story etched in the whispers of the wind and the murmurs of the river.
