Eva lay motionless on a steel cot, her breath slow and shallow. All around her, machines blinked in silent rhythm, their screens reflecting in her half-open eyes. She awoke with a start, the sterile silence broken only by her own ragged inhale.
"Where... am I?" Her voice trembled, echoing off empty walls, as she noticed a shimmering vial on a nearby tray.
Eva reached for the vial, her hand trembling. As the cold liquid slid down her throat, her vision blurred; agony lanced through her limbs. Silk erupted from her fingertips, pooling around her as her spine arched and her senses sharpened. She spun herself a cocoon, silky threads glinting in the artificial light, enclosing her in a world of transformation.
Eva emerged, her body changed—limbs graceful and spidery, eyes glimmering with newfound power. Drawn by instinct, she followed the web of wires to the heart of the lab. As she approached, silk streamed from her body, latching onto the glowing heart. The laboratory trembled as her silk fused with the core, electricity and life force intertwining.
"This power... it's mine now," she whispered, feeling the pulse of energies merge within her.
The dragon’s eyes blazed as it scented Eva. She flexed her new limbs, silk glimmering between her fingers. The dragon unleashed a torrent of fire, but Eva leapt and spun a cocoon of silk, trapping both herself and the beast in a shimmering web. Their bodies convulsed together, the silk binding them in a dance of struggle and fusion.
"You are strong," she hissed, "but your power will be mine."
Stars glitter overhead in an infinite web, and the goddess, draped in endless silk, rises to face Eva. The goddess’s eyes flash with ancient wisdom and wrath. Silk threads whip through the air, but Eva weaves faster, her silk glowing with cosmic energy. The chamber trembles as Eva’s webs wrap around the goddess, binding her in iridescent threads.
"Your silk is beautiful, but it belongs to me now," she declares, absorbing the goddess’s power into herself.
Every being across space shivers as threads of silk attach to their hearts, their eyes turning skyward. Eva stands at the center, her body both woman and spider, crowned in dragon fire and cosmic silk. She feels the thoughts of every creature—servant and child—woven into her endless web.
"Now, all life is my tapestry. I am the weaver, and the cosmos belongs to me," her voice resounds, echoing through eternity.
