Arjun and Meera, siblings lost in the forest, clung to each other for comfort. The path they had been following was now just a memory, swallowed by the darkness. "Don't be afraid, Meera," Arjun reassured her, though his voice trembled slightly.
Meera's grip tightened on her brother's hand, tears brimming in her eyes. "I'm scared," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the ambient sounds. Arjun looked around, trying to spot something familiar, anything that could guide them home.
"Look, Meera, there's a light!" Arjun exclaimed, a hint of relief in his tone. Together, they moved towards the light, their footsteps cautious yet hopeful.
They hesitated at the door, unsure of what lay within. It creaked open, revealing Dadi, a kindly old woman with a warm smile. "Come in, children," she beckoned, her voice soothing like a lullaby.
Dadi served them tea, her eyes twinkling with a mysterious wisdom. "Can you help us find our way home?" Arjun asked, hopeful yet wary. "The forest is perilous at night," she replied, [@ch_3_d]"stay here until morning."
Meera sat up, eyes wide with fear. "What is that?" she asked. Dadi appeared at the doorway, her smile reassuring. "Worry not, it's just the forest spirits, watching over the night," she explained, her presence calming them.
Dadi guided them to the edge of the forest, her parting words echoing in their minds. "Remember, not all that is unseen is to be feared," she said, waving goodbye. Arjun and Meera followed the path, the warmth of the sun on their backs, the memory of the forest and its secrets a lingering whisper.
