Lucas, a curious and daring young man, stepped cautiously towards the entrance, his flashlight beam piercing the growing darkness. Emily, his nervous but adventurous friend, clutched his arm tightly. Mark, the skeptic of the group, followed closely behind, his expression a mix of disbelief and intrigue.
"Are you sure about this, Lucas?" "It's just an old building, Emily. What's the worst that could happen?" "I don't know, maybe we should turn back. This place gives me the creeps," Mark muttered, glancing around nervously.
Lucas led the way, his flashlight revealing glimpses of the hospital's past. Emily trailed behind, her eyes wide as she took in the eerie surroundings. Mark hesitated at each doorway, half-expecting something to jump out at them.
"Look at this place. It's like a time capsule," "Or a horror movie set," Mark interjected, trying to lighten the mood with a forced chuckle.
Emily shivered, rubbing her arms as she peered into the room. Inside, a single hospital bed lay in the center, untouched by time. A dusty nurse's uniform is draped over a chair, but something is off. "Do you see that?" "What is it?" Mark whispered, stepping closer.
Lucas froze, his heart pounding in his chest. Emily gasped, stumbling backward. Mark stood rooted to the spot, unable to tear his eyes away from the apparition. "We need to get out of here, now!" he finally managed to shout.
Lucas led the charge, his mind racing as he tried to remember the way out. Emily clung to his hand, her breathing rapid and shallow. Mark brought up the rear, glancing over his shoulder at every turn.
"This way, hurry!" "I don't want to die here!" "We're almost there, keep moving!"
Lucas collapsed onto the ground, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Emily hugged him tightly, tears streaming down her face. Mark stood beside them, his expression one of disbelief and relief.
"We made it," "I never want to go back in there," "Let's not do this again," Mark said with a shaky laugh, glancing back at the shadowy silhouette of the hospital.
