Twist strummed his guitar, sending playful notes into the air. Kiki hummed as she adjusted the microphone, while Shout tapped out a rhythm on the drums and Marina danced between them, her tambourine jingling.
"This is going to be our best show yet!"
"Let’s run the chorus one more time,"
Shout froze, eyes wide as he pointed. Kiki clung to her tambourine, heart pounding.
"Did you guys see that?"
"It's a ghost! Run!"
The band bolts from the studio, their shoes squeaking wildly as fear overtakes their usual harmony.
Kiki finds Ms. Melody, the wise music teacher known for her calming presence and clever thinking.
"Ms. Melody, we saw a ghost in the studio! It was floating by the piano!"
"A ghost, you say? Let’s go investigate together. Sometimes, things aren’t always what they seem,"
Ms. Melody kneels beside the piano, inspecting a projector hidden under a scarf.
"Look here, everyone. Someone set up a projector. Let’s see who’s behind this,"
"But who would want to scare us?"
Reed[/@ch_6], the mischievous janitor with a knack for pranks, steps in, his grin sheepish as he holds a remote control. Dust motes swirl in the sunlight behind him, and his toolbelt clinks as he walks.]
"Sorry, Fresh Beats! I thought it’d be funny to test out my Halloween projector. I didn’t mean to frighten anyone!"
"You sure had us running, Reed!"
"There’s nothing like teamwork to solve a mystery,"
"And nothing like good friends to help us when we’re scared,"
The band launches into a joyful rehearsal, their music ringing out brighter than ever.
