Izuku Midoriya stepped off the bus, his eyes reflecting a mix of anticipation and unease. Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, and Tsuyu Asui followed closely, their expressions a mirror of his own. Shoto Todoroki lingered behind, his gaze fixed on the building that held so many memories.
"It's hard to believe she'll be coming home soon," Izuku mused, trying to offer comfort to Shoto.
"Yeah, it's been a long time coming," Shoto replied, though his voice carried a hint of trepidation.
Iida adjusted his glasses, his voice tinged with concern. "It seems something serious has occurred here," he noted as they maneuvered through the throng of officials.
"What's going on?" Ochaco wondered aloud, her eyes scanning the scene for clues.
Inside, the hospital was a flurry of activity. Nurses whispered in hushed tones while detectives moved purposefully, their expressions grim.
"Detective, we were here to visit Shoto's mother," Izuku explained, sensing the gravity of the situation.
Detective Saito nodded, his expression grave. "I'm afraid your visit coincides with a rather dire incident. Dabi, a member of the Vanguard Action Squad, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances," he revealed.
"Dabi? Here?" Tsuyu croaked, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Detective Saito led them into a dimly lit office filled with papers and photographs, the heart of the investigation. "We believe Dabi was here to meet someone, but we're unsure who or why," he explained, gesturing to a board filled with notes and connections.
Shoto studied the board, his mind racing. "Could this have anything to do with my mother?" he asked, his voice edged with worry.
"It's possible, but we can't be sure yet," Detective Saito replied, noting the anxiety in Shoto's eyes.
"This is getting more complicated by the minute," Ochaco murmured, her brow furrowed in thought.
Iida clenched his fist, determination in his voice. "We must solve this before Rei's release. It could be crucial," he urged.
Izuku nodded, his mind set on the task ahead. "We'll do whatever it takes to uncover the truth," he vowed, the resolve of a hero in his eyes.
In dark twist it’s revealed that Rei is the murderer and that she killed Dabi out ofparanoia once he tried to approach her room thinking he was a “dog” of Oji Harima who after being brought into the mental hospital for his supposed kleptomaniac issues started to therhted her if she didn’tgive him information about her husband and her other hero’s she was familiar by having his “dogs” kill her kids. Dabi of carouse was not of his dog and just wanted to visit her for unknown reasons.
