The city below was just waking up, the streets bustling with the promise of a new day. Supergirl glanced down, her keen eyes catching sight of a yellow school bus speeding past a stop. Her gaze shifted to a young boy in a wheelchair left behind. "Let's check on him," she suggested, diving down with grace.
Wonder Woman landed beside Supergirl as she approached the boy. His expression was a mix of disappointment and resignation. "Hi there, is everything alright?" she asked softly. The boy, introducing himself as Ethan, explained how the bus driver often overlooked him, deeming the bus unsuitable for those who couldn't walk.
"That's unacceptable," Wonder Woman declared, her eyes blazing with determination. "Let's get you to school," Supergirl offered, lifting Ethan and his wheelchair effortlessly into the air.
Wonder Woman and Supergirl touched down in front of the school. The principal, Mr. Harris, met them at the door, his face clouded with concern. Upon hearing Ethan's story, Mr. Harris sighed heavily. "This isn't the first time it's happened. I've reported it, but the bus company turns a blind eye," he confessed.
Wonder Woman frowned. "We'll make sure they listen," she vowed. "Let's bring this to the Justice League," Supergirl suggested, her resolve firm.
Batman scanned through pages of information, piecing together the tangled web of discrimination. "The bus company's owner has a history of bias against those with disabilities," he revealed grimly, sharing his findings with Supergirl and Wonder Woman.
"It's time for some public exposure," Supergirl said, reaching for her phone to contact Lois Lane.
Lois Lane listened intently as Supergirl relayed the situation. "We need to shine a light on this," Lois affirmed, her fingers flying over the keyboard as she crafted an article exposing the bus company's practices. The story hit the front page the next morning, sparking public outrage.
The bus company faced closure, and several drivers were held accountable. In its place, Michael Harris, Mr. Harris's son, launched a new, inclusive service. "Everyone deserves a ride," he declared with pride as the first bus, equipped for all abilities, rolled out.
Wonder Woman and Supergirl watched from afar, satisfaction glinting in their eyes. "This is just the beginning," Wonder Woman said, and Supergirl nodded, knowing they had made a real difference.
