The Ventriloquist sat alone on the stage, his back hunched over as he meticulously polished Scarface, the wooden puppet with a menacing grin. The room was filled with an eerie silence, broken only by the creak of old floorboards and the distant sound of a clock ticking.
"Soon, my dear Scarface, we shall have a new member in our little family," he murmured, his voice a chilling whisper that echoed through the empty theater.
The Ventriloquist hunched over a workbench, his fingers deftly manipulating strings and gears. He envisioned the perfect plan to ensnare Bruce Wayne, the billionaire with a hidden identity.
"A man of such influence, yet so easily swayed," he mused, a sinister smile playing on his lips. Scarface watched silently, its glassy eyes reflecting the flickering candlelight.
Bruce Wayne stood by the window, his mind restless. A recent gala invitation from an anonymous benefactor intrigued him, yet something felt amiss.
"Alfred, what do you make of this?" he asked, handing the invitation to his trusted butler.
Alfred, ever composed, glanced over the card. "It could be a trap, Master Wayne. Gotham's underbelly often hides behind such pleasantries," he warned.
Bruce Wayne entered the room, his presence commanding attention. He moved through the crowd, searching for the mysterious host.
The Ventriloquist, disguised among the guests, observed him with calculating eyes. Scarface remained tucked under his arm, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Bruce Wayne found himself alone on the stage, the audience vanished, leaving only shadows. The Ventriloquist emerged from the wings, Scarface at his side.
"Welcome, Bruce. Or should I say, Batman?" his voice dripped with malice.
"What do you want?" Bruce demanded, his voice steady despite the danger.
"To make you my next masterpiece," the Ventriloquist sneered, lifting Scarface as if to begin the transformation.
The changes happened instantly as Bruce Wayne falls lifeless on the floor as a new wooden puppet. The Ventriloquist laughed as he approaches the new lifeless puppet checking for any cracks or bruises that would need fixing. He then dressed his new puppet Bruce Wayne into an attire just like Scarface before putting them both into a box face to face as he’ll need to get out of Gotham before they even realize the ruse. Now in another city, The Ventriloquist with his puppets Scarface and Bruce Wayne set forth to commit all the heinous crimes they want.
