Miss Lily, the beloved kindergarten teacher, stands at the front of the room with a warm smile. She claps her hands gently to capture the kids' attention. "Alright, everyone, today we're going on a special journey through the ABCs of Valentine's Day!" she announces.
"A is for Affection, a feeling so sweet," Miss Lily starts, her voice filled with warmth. Tommy, a curious little boy with tousled hair, raises his hand eagerly. "And B is for Bouquet, with flowers that smell neat!" he chimes in.
Sarah, a shy girl with pigtails, softly suggests, "C is for Chocolate, a treat that we love." Lucas, who often speaks in rhymes, follows with, "D is for Doves, flying high above."
Miss Lily walks around, offering encouragement. "E is for Embrace, a hug so tight," she says, gently helping Emily with her heart-shaped card. "F is for Friendship, making everything right," Emily adds with a smile.
"G is for Gifts, wrapped with love and care," Miss Lily declares as she cuts the cake, sharing pieces with each child. Alex, with a mouthful of cake, exclaims, "H is for Hearts, floating everywhere!"
"I is for Imagination, which we've used today," Miss Lily concludes, as the children line up at the door. Jasmine, with a twinkle in her eye, adds, "J is for Joy, that won't fade away."
Miss Lily waves goodbye, her heart warmed by the day's events, knowing that the little ones have captured the essence of Valentine's Day in their own delightful way.
