Gru stood among the throng with his three daughters, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, along with their guest Noah Jutila. The laughter of children and the hum of conversation surrounded them. "Thanks for inviting me, Margo," Noah said, trying to hide his nervousness. "I'm glad you came," Margo replied with a smile that made Noah's heart race.
Gru settled at one end of the row, his popcorn in hand, while Edith and Agnes shared excited whispers. Margo and Noah sat at the opposite end, the proximity making Noah acutely aware of his beating heart. As the trailers began, Noah tried to focus, but Margo's closeness was impossibly distracting.
Edith leaned over to Margo with a mischievous grin. "Hey, Margo, I think you should give Noah a kiss since you like him so much," Edith teased. Margo's cheeks flushed, but instead of shying away, she smirked. She leaned over and kissed Noah on the cheek, causing his face to turn crimson.
Before Noah could react, Margo leaned in again, this time planting a quick kiss on his lips. Noah's mind went blank, and he automatically covered his face with his hands. Agnes clapped her hands excitedly. "Aww, that was so cute!" she exclaimed. Edith laughed heartily, enjoying the spectacle.
Gru noticed the commotion and turned to the group. "Wait, what happened?" he inquired, looking between the kids. Edith couldn't contain her laughter. "Margo just kissed Noah!" she explained. Gru's eyes narrowed playfully at Noah. "Hmph. Noah, are you blushing?" he asked.
Noah nodded sheepishly, his face still red. Gru sighed dramatically. "Ah, young love. Just don’t get any ideas, okay? I have my *eyes* on you," he warned with a wink. Margo rolled her eyes, whispering to Noah, "You're cute when you blush." Noah sat still, his heart racing as the movie unfolded, knowing this was a night he'd never forget.
