Elara, the rightful princess, strong-willed and compassionate, clutches her mother’s ring as she gazes into the dying light.
Rowan, the kingdom’s former captain of the guard, loyal and brave, tends their wounds, his eyes constantly scanning for danger.
"We can’t stay here forever, Rowan. My people are suffering—and so am I, without my home."
"We will reclaim it, Elara. Even if the world stands against us, I will never leave your side."
Kairen hesitates, his hand hovering just above Seraya’s.
"I fought for the kingdom, but my heart… it fights for you."
"I never knew love could burn so fiercely, even in exile," she whispers, her voice trembling with hope and fear.
Seraya stands tall atop a broken fountain, her silhouette outlined in the morning glow.
"We’ll start here—win back the hearts of those who remain, and build our resistance brick by brick."
"They called me a traitor," Kairen says, voice steady, "But I’d rather be a traitor to a usurper than to you."
Sir Cedric, once their ally, now uncertain, paces nervously.
"You ask me to risk everything for a lost cause. The usurper’s men are everywhere."
"This is not just about a crown," Seraya pleads, "It’s about hope. For all of us."
"If you stand with us, Cedric, we can restore what was lost—and build something greater."
Seraya[/@ch_1] and Kairen. Banners bearing the old crest unfurl in the rain, and the clamor of swords being drawn fills the air.]
Seraya rides atop a sturdy mare, her eyes alight with determination.
"Tonight, we fight not just for a throne, but for our hearts, our homes, and for each other!"
Kairen rides beside her, his hand never straying far from hers, their bond an unspoken promise in the storm.
Seraya stands at the highest tower, the wind whipping her hair as she surveys her reclaimed kingdom.
Kairen joins her, exhaustion and joy mingling in his eyes.
"We have our kingdom, Elara. But more than that… I have you."
"Let us rule with love, so no one will ever need to fight so desperately again," she whispers, resting her head on his shoulder as the golden light bathes them in promise.
