Noah Jutila stood near the front, his heart pounding in rhythm with the chants around him. Edith Gru, Margo’s mischievous younger sister, had promised him a night to remember. The energy was electric, each cheer vibrating through his bones as he nervously shifted from foot to foot.
The moment Margo Gru stepped into the spotlight, her silhouette captivating, the crowd erupted. Her voice was a soft melody, weaving through the air, and Noah could hardly believe it when her gaze met his. "Noah, I love how you blush and hide your face in your hands with excitement around cute girls who want to kiss you." The words hung in the air, a direct arrow to his heart.
Stacie Roberts, Barbie’s sporty little sister, nudged him with a playful grin. "Looks like you’re famous now, Noah." From the VIP section, Gru nodded with a satisfied smirk, while Shrek clapped him on the back. "Looks like yer gettin’ a fairytale moment, lad!"
Antonio Perez, Margo’s childhood friend, gave Noah a knowing look. "Better do something, amigo. A girl doesn’t sing a line like that for just anyone." Edith reappeared, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well? Are you just gonna stand there, or are you gonna go backstage?" With a gentle push from the crowd, Noah found himself moving forward.
Margo Gru turned as Noah entered, her expression a mix of nerves and excitement. "Hey," she greeted softly. "Hey," he replied, still reeling from the moment. "That song… was that really about me?" Her laughter was a sweet melody. "It was." She stepped closer, her eyes warm and inviting.
Margo reached for his hand, her touch gentle yet firm. "Because I think you’re sweet. And I like the way you get flustered around me." The world seemed to pause as Noah processed her words. Then, without overthinking, Margo leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. Gru’s voice echoed from the hallway, "Don’t do anything crazy, young man! I am watching you!" Edith’s laugh followed, "Relax, Dad, this is basically a rom-com moment."
