Noah Jutila stood at the entrance, his heart pounding as he glanced at the ride that awaited. The challenge was simple yet daunting—sit next to Margo Gru, the girl who seemed to effortlessly unsettle him.
"Are you seriously hiding already?" Margo teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she leaned closer to Noah.
"No," he mumbled, his voice barely audible.
"Are you always this shy, or is it just around me?" Margo asked with a playful grin, enjoying the effect she had on him.
Noah whimpered, feeling his cheeks burn even more under her gaze.
Margo leaned in, her expression unreadable. "Hey, Noah?" she said softly.
"Y-yeah?" he replied, peeking out from behind his hands.
Noah froze, his mind going blank as his hands shot back over his face, now burning hotter than ever.
"NO WAY, SHE KISSED HIM!" Edith exclaimed, her voice carrying over the crowd.
Margo grinned as she stepped off the boat, her victory evident in her stride. "See you around, Jutila."
He watched as Margo walked away, a mixture of confusion and admiration swirling within him. This dare had certainly changed everything.
