Kali trudged along the cracked sidewalk, his sneakers scuffing the pavement. The weight of the day pressed on him, and he let out a tired sigh, glancing at the endless river of cars and neon signs. He thought about homework, basketball tryouts, and the weekend ahead, never suspecting how quickly everything was about to change.
As the accident unfolds, bystanders gasp and shout, their faces twisted in shock. Time slows; Kali’s world narrows to spinning lights, the distant wail of sirens, and the cold, hard pavement beneath him. The city’s heart skips a beat, and the future teeters on a knife’s edge.
Dr. Elijah Harris, Kali’s father and CEO of SuperBioMed, stands at his son’s side, his eyes heavy with hope and fear. "We’ll save him. Begin the procedure," he commands, voice trembling. Robotic arms descend, and cybernetic components are fused with flesh and bone. Sparks flicker as the operation redefines the boundaries of humanity.
Kali sits up, flexing his new limbs. The sensation is alien but exhilarating. He catches his reflection: a patchwork of human warmth and cold chrome. "I feel... different. Stronger," he whispers, both awed and afraid. The night outside beckons, and a sense of purpose stirs within him.
Voltzer, his form flickering with high-voltage currents, taunts Kali with a voice like static. "You’re just another machine in my city. You cannot stop me," he sneers. Kali charges, dodging bolts of electricity, his speed and strength growing with each strike. Suddenly, a direct hit from Voltzer’s lightning surges through him—Kali is supercharged, his powers erupting beyond all known limits.
The vastness is indescribable; Kali sees himself as a hero, a villain, a scientist, a poet, across worlds and timelines. The sheer infinity of existence presses in, and his consciousness reels. Unable to comprehend it all, Kali succumbs to exhaustion, drifting into a deep, cosmic sleep.
Crawfather, the department manager of timelines, approaches, his wings glossy and imposing. "These crows write the events of every universe," he explains, voice echoing in the vast chamber. "Strict rules govern the flow of time, but one crow broke the rules, inspiring your journey beyond light. That creativity must be punished. You, Kali, shall return to the moment before your accident, wiser for what you have seen." Kali nods, understanding the gravity of his experience as the hall fades away.
