MadSci surveyed the destruction, a mixture of pride and exhaustion etched on his face. Beside him, Jahil kicked at a piece of debris, his usual humor dimmed by the enormity of the chaos around them.
Celestial Lady floated gracefully above the wreckage, her eyes glowing softly as she used her powers to assess the damage. "We did it, but at what cost?" she mused, her voice carrying a tinge of sadness.
"Hey, at least we turned Ravan into a disco ball," Jahil quipped, attempting to lighten the mood. MadSci shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips.
MadSci leaned back, his eyes reflecting the starlight. "Ravan's weapon was unlike anything we've faced before. If it weren't for our teamwork, it might have been the end."
Celestial Lady nodded, her expression thoughtful. "The T1K was powered by negativity. It's a reminder that even our emotions can be weapons or shields."
"Yeah, but can we talk about how my dance battle idea could've been epic?" Jahil interjected, earning a laugh from his companions.
MadSci pulled out a device from his pocket, its screen flickering to life. "We need to repair the mall, but more importantly, prepare for what's next. Ravan was just a pawn, and I fear a greater threat looms."
Celestial Lady placed her hand on MadSci's shoulder, her touch reassuring. "We'll face whatever comes together. The multiverse needs its guardians."
"And maybe, just maybe, we'll get that dance battle," Jahil added, his grin infectious.
The heroes rose, brushing off the dust and debris. MadSci led the way, his mind already racing with plans and calculations. Celestial Lady followed, her ethereal glow cutting through the darkness.
Jahil lingered a moment longer, looking back at the glittering remnants of the T1K. "We might just be the last line of defense, but we're also the best," he whispered before jogging to catch up with his friends.
Together, they walked into the night, ready to face whatever evils awaited beyond the stars.
