Lyra Ashford leaned forward, her eyes narrowing as an unfamiliar blip appeared on her radar. "Nathan, I've found something," she called out, her voice a mix of excitement and caution.
Nathan adjusted his headset, his curiosity piqued. "What do you think it is?" he asked as Lyra maneuvered closer. "Only one way to find out," she replied, a determined glint in her eye as she prepared to board the derelict vessel.
Lyra and Nathan moved cautiously, their footsteps echoing in the silence. "Look at this," Lyra whispered, pointing to a console displaying a looping message. Nathan leaned in to read, his face turning pale. "It's a warning... about a cosmic disaster," he murmured.
Lyra grabbed Nathan's arm, urgency in her eyes. "We need to get out of here, now!" she shouted over the noise. Nathan nodded, his mind racing as they sprinted back toward their ship, the realization of their peril driving them forward.
Lyra slumped into her seat, relief washing over her. "What do we do now?" Nathan asked, glancing at the data they managed to retrieve. "We warn everyone," Lyra replied, determination in her voice. "The fate of countless worlds depends on it."
Lyra tightened her grip on the controls, adrenaline coursing through her veins. "They're trying to stop us," Nathan warned, his fingers flying over the console as he plotted evasive maneuvers. "We'll have to outsmart them," Lyra declared, a fierce resolve burning within her.
Nathan watched in awe as Lyra's skillful piloting led them to safety. "You did it," he breathed, relief evident in his voice. "We're not out of it yet," Lyra replied, though a small smile tugged at her lips. "But we're one step closer to saving the universe."
