Miles stumbled back as the light enveloped him, the ground disappearing beneath his feet. He felt weightless, drifting upwards into the unknown, his heart pounding with fear and curiosity.
Morgan, an alien with a gentle demeanor, approached the bewildered Miles. "Welcome, young one. You are here for the Planetary Repopulation Program," Morgan explained, their voice calm and soothing.
"Our world suffered greatly from war, and Earth has agreed to help us heal," Morgan continued. "We offer you a chance to transform and find a new family here."
Miles listened intently, his mind racing with thoughts of belonging and the possibility of love. "I want a family," he whispered.
Maria, his new mother, gently wrapped him in silk, her touch tender and reassuring. "Rest now, child," Maria cooed, as Miles felt warmth and safety envelop him, drifting into a deep slumber.
Maria cradled the newly born Ronald, a vibrant alien being. "Welcome to your new life, my son," Maria whispered, her eyes filled with love and joy.
Maria gently massaged Ronald's feet with sand, marking him with a number, a symbol of his place in this world. She then led him to the river's edge, where cool, sparkling water washed over him, sealing his new identity. As Maria carried him to bed, Ronald drifted into dreams of the adventures awaiting him in this vibrant, new life.
