Guests in elegant attire scatter in panic, their faces frozen in shock. Amid the chaos, Susan Murphy, a blue-eyed brunette in a flowing white wedding dress, lies at the epicenter of the impact, bathed in an eerie, radioactive glow. Derek Dietl, her self-absorbed fiancé in a sharp tuxedo, stares in disbelief as Susan begins to grow, her skin stretching, hair turning a brilliant white, and her dress tearing at the seams as she expands to a staggering 49 feet 11 inches tall.
"Susan, what is happening to you?!" His voice trembles, more with concern for his ruined wedding than for her plight.
Susan clutches what’s left of her dress, confusion and fear washing over her as her new stature dwarfs the pews and altar.
Susan, now clad in a dark grey jumpsuit with vibrant orange lines and deep pockets, sits hunched inside a colossal, reinforced cell. Military personnel bustle below her, dwarfed by her size. The air is tense and sterile, filled with the hum of fluorescent lights and the metallic tang of containment.
General W. R. Monger, a gruff officer with a steely gaze, enters the observation room. "Welcome to your new home, Susan. You're not the only 'unique' resident here," he announces, gesturing toward a thick steel door.
B.O.B., a gelatinous, one-eyed blue blob, bounces excitedly; Dr. Cockroach, PhD, a suave scientist with a cockroach’s head and twitching antennae, adjusts his lab coat; and The Missing Link, a scaly, amphibious brute, cracks his knuckles by a large pool. The air is tinged with antiseptic and the faint smell of ozone.
"Hey, newbie! Welcome to monster jail!"
"Don't mind B.O.B.—his intellect is, shall we say, unconventional."
"Stick with us, kid. We’ve been here long enough to know the drill," The Missing Link rumbles, flashing a toothy grin.
The monsters, led by Susan, emerge from military transports to face the threat. Sirens wail, civilians flee, and the robot’s laser eyes scorch the earth. Susan, now embracing her immense strength, lifts a toppled bus with ease while B.O.B. distracts the robot, Dr. Cockroach hacks its circuitry, and The Missing Link delivers crushing blows.
"We do this together! For our freedom!"
With a thundering crash, the robot falls, sparks flying. Cheers erupt from the watching crowds and military.
Derek stands awkwardly before Susan, her giant form illuminated in silver. His ego bruised, he avoids her gaze.
"I just... can’t do this, Susan. You’re not the woman I married,"
Pain flashes in Susan's eyes as a humming beam of light suddenly engulfs her, whisking her into the cold, alien interior of a spaceship. Gallaxhar, a smooth-talking, tentacled alien overlord, greets her with a sinister smirk.
"At last, the source of quantonium! Earth will soon be mine!"
Susan, weakened but determined, teams up with her monster friends who have infiltrated the ship. Sparks fly as they sabotage the cloning process, battling Gallaxhar’s minions amid chaotic alarms. The ship shakes violently as Dr. Cockroach initiates a self-destruct sequence.
"No more running. I’m taking my life back,"
With a mighty leap, Susan smashes through the ship’s core, sending it into a spectacular explosion above Earth's atmosphere.
The air is warm with hope and celebration. Susan, once feared, is now hailed as a hero, her white hair shining under the golden sun. Derek pushes through the crowd, desperate.
"Susan, I was wrong. Please, come back to me. We can start over!"
"No, Derek. I’ve found my place. I choose this life—and I choose me,"
The crowd erupts in applause as Susan steps forward, smiling at her friends and the future she’s claimed.
