Alexander, a 15-year-old Korean boy, walked through the town feeling invisible amidst the hustle and bustle around him. Despite the beauty of the morning, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being overlooked, a shadow in the crowd.
"Why can't I just be taller?"
Alexander stopped in his tracks, intrigued by a flashy poster seeking test subjects for a mysterious study. The words "must be in puberty" stood out, sparking a glimmer of hope in him. "Could this be my chance?"
Dr. Elaine Kim, the lead scientist, greeted Alexander with a warm smile. "Welcome, we're excited to have you here," she said, guiding him through the process. Over the next few months, Alexander experienced changes beyond his wildest dreams, growing taller each day.
Alexander, now 13 feet tall, walked through the campus with a newfound confidence. John, a fellow student, jogged up to him. "Hey, Alex! You're like a walking skyscraper now!" Alexander chuckled, enjoying the attention he once craved.
Alexander donned his security guard uniform, ready for his night shift. Lisa, a colleague, waved at him. "Feeling tall on the job, Alex?" He nodded, grateful for the opportunity to protect the place that had become his second home.
Alexander sat quietly, reflecting on his journey. Though he was now noticed by everyone, he realized that true growth came from within. "Being tall is great, but being seen for who I am matters more," he mused, smiling at the starlit sky.
