Harper slides her hand into Hunter's, their footprints trailing behind as they walk along the shoreline. The salty breeze tousles Harper's hair as she smiles up at him, the perfect picture of peace.
The helicopter hovers menacingly above Hunter, its side door sliding open to reveal armed officers. Bullets rain down, tearing into the sand nearby, forcing Hunter and Harper to dive for cover. Panic erupts, and the calm beach transforms into chaos.
"Hunter, what's happening? Why are they shooting at us?"
"I don't know, but stay close to me. I'll protect you."
Harper[/@ch_2], trembling, throws her arms around Hunter. The sound of gunfire echoes, but within the embrace there is an island of safety. Tears stream down Harper's face, her grip tightening as she feels Hunter's body tense.]
"Please, don't leave me. I'm scared," she sobs, burying her face in his chest. Hunter's jaw clenches, his eyes glowing with a simmering rage as the danger becomes unbearable.
Hunter[/@ch_1]'s anger boils over. His muscles bulge, skin rippling and turning a deep emerald green. Sand swirls around his feet as he grows larger, his clothes shredding, and a roar shakes the beach—Hunter is now the Hulk.]
Harper stumbles back, eyes wide in awe and fear, as the transformed Hunter towers over the fleeing crowd. The police helicopter hovers warily, spotlight now fixed on the hulking figure.
The officers inside scramble to keep control, alarms blaring. The helicopter sways dangerously, its rotors slicing the air as Hulk tears at its frame. The force of his attack rattles windows along the beach, sending beachgoers running for safety.
"Leave us alone! You won't hurt her again!"
Harper[/@ch_2], shaken, approaches cautiously, reaching out for Hunter as he shrinks back to his human form.]
"Hunter, are you okay? I was so scared," she whispers, tears glistening in the fading sunlight.
"I'm here, Harper. I'll always protect you, no matter what," he replies, holding her close as the storm passes and the waves resume their gentle rhythm.
