Three cousins, Cooper, Grahm, and Charlotte, arrived at the camp, their eyes wide with excitement. Cooper, the oldest, had a map in hand, a mischievous grin on his face. Grahm, with his adventurous spirit, was already planning their day. Charlotte, couldn't help but gaze at the sparkling lake, eagerly anticipating the adventure awaiting them. "Alright, team! Are we ready to conquer the Tenney River?" Cooper asked, waving the map. "Absolutely! I've been waiting all year for this," Grahm replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Me too! I can't wait to see what's in that tunnel," Charlotte chimed in, her voice full of wonder.
Cooper steered the boat towards the mouth of the Tenney River, his hands steady on the oars. Grahm leaned over the edge, watching the fish dart beneath the surface, while Charlotte giggled at the water splashing her face.
"Look at all those fish!" Grahm exclaimed, pointing to a school of shimmering fish just below.
"They're beautiful! Do you think we'll see any turtles?" Charlotte asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
"Maybe, if we're lucky," Cooper replied, guiding them into the winding river.
Grahm leaned forward, his excitement palpable. Cooper slowed the boat, letting them drift into the tunnel. Charlotte's eyes sparkled as she took in the sight of the shimmering stones lining the walls, casting an ethereal glow.
"This is amazing! It's like a hidden world," Charlotte whispered, awe in her voice.
"It's magical, isn't it?" Grahm agreed, reaching out to touch the cool, damp stones.
"Let's see where this leads," Cooper said, his voice filled with anticipation.
Grahm spotted a group of frogs hopping along the bank and eagerly jumped out of the boat. Charlotte followed, her laughter echoing across the water as she tried to catch one. Cooper watched, grinning as he spotted a turtle basking on a nearby rock.
"Got one!" Grahm shouted triumphantly, holding up a small frog.
"Let me see!" Charlotte said, rushing over to admire the little creature.
"Look over there, a turtle!" Cooper pointed, his excitement matching theirs.
Cooper climbed onto the dock, extending a hand to help Charlotte up. Grahm was already planning their next move, his eyes scanning the water.
"Last one in is a rotten egg!" Grahm shouted, taking a running leap into the lake.
"Wait for me!" Charlotte called, jumping in after him, her laughter ringing out.
"Here I come!" Cooper joined them, splashing into the cool water.
Cooper looked at his sister and cousin, a sense of contentment washing over him. Grahm and Charlotte exchanged glances, their hearts full from the day's adventures. "This was the best day ever," Charlotte sighed, her voice soft and happy. "I can't wait to do it all again tomorrow," Grahm added, closing his eyes against the fading light. "Agreed," Cooper said, feeling grateful for the memories they had created together.
