Tatum and Jacob were playing tag, their sneakers kicking up dust as they dashed across the grassy field. Suddenly, a loud noise interrupted their game, causing Tatum to stop abruptly. "What was that?" Jacob pointed upwards, eyes wide with excitement. "Look up! It's a hot air balloon!"
Tatum and Jacob watched in awe as the balloon slowly descended. Jacob shouted, "Wow, it's going to land right here in the park!" The children raced toward the landing spot, their hearts pounding with excitement.
Tatum noticed the flames flickering from the burners above the basket. "I don't like the fire," she said with a hint of apprehension. Jacob, unfazed, urged, "Let's get closer!"
The pilot, stepped out of the basket, He lifted a little girl out over the side. She was only about 7 or 8 she greeting the children with a warm, "Hello there! My name is Devin and My Dad flys hot air balloons. Would you like to take a closer look?" The children nodded eagerly, their previous trepidation replaced by wonder.
Devins Daddy Let Devin explained how the balloon worked, her voice full on information. "These burners keep us afloat, and the basket is where we ride," he said. Jacob touched the side of the basket, eyes wide with fascination. "It's amazing," Tatum whispered.
Devins DaddyGot back in the balloon. Lifted Devin back in over the side. They hit the burners waved goodbye, promising to return for another visit. The children waved back, their hearts full of new dreams. "Next time, we'll ride it," Jacob declared confidently. Tatum smiled, her fears replaced with excitement for the adventures yet to come.
