Baddo Bat flapped his wings quietly as he soared through the night, his keen eyes scanning the ground below for any signs of trouble. Luke, a brave young boy with a heart full of adventure, followed closely on his bicycle, the tires crunching softly on the gravel path.
"Did you hear that, Baddo?" Luke asked, his voice a mix of excitement and concern.
"Yes, it sounds like someone needs help. Let's go!"
Baddo Bat swooped low, his acute hearing guiding him towards the source of the sound. Luke followed on foot now, his flashlight beam cutting through the darkness.
"Poor thing, we have to help it!" Luke exclaimed, already reaching for his multitool.
"Almost there, Luke. You're doing great," encouraged Baddo Bat.
"We did it, Baddo!" Luke cheered, a triumphant smile on his face.
"Another successful rescue, thanks to teamwork," Baddo Bat replied, flapping his wings as they both headed back, the night no longer seeming as dark.
