Payam stood in awe at the center of the hall, her eyes tracing the intricate carvings that covered the walls. The castle, a gift from a distant relative, had appeared overnight on their family’s land. "It's like something out of a fairy tale," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the fluttering drapes. Her younger siblings, Max and Sophie, entered the room, eyes wide with wonder. "Do you think it's haunted?" Max asked, his voice tinged with excitement and a touch of fear. "Haunted or not, it's amazing!" Sophie twirled around, her laughter echoing off the high ceilings.
The siblings woke to find the castle surrounded by towering trees, their leaves whispering secrets in the morning breeze. Elena peered out of a high window, her breath catching as she realized their home had moved. "We need to find out why it moves," she resolved, turning to face her siblings. "But how do we even start?" Max asked, his brow furrowed in thought. "Maybe there's a clue hidden somewhere," Sophie suggested, eager to explore.
The shelves were lined with ancient tomes, their spines cracked and faded. Elena ran her fingers along the books, selecting one that seemed promising. "Look here," she called, showing her siblings a page with a map and strange symbols. "What does it mean?" Sophie asked, tracing the symbols with her finger. "It looks like a riddle," Max observed, his eyes glittering with intrigue.
Elena read aloud, her voice filled with determination. "‘To find the roots of stone and wood, follow the light, where shadows stood,’" she recited, glancing up at her siblings. "It must mean we need to look for something at dawn," Max concluded. "Maybe the castle returns to its original place at sunrise," Sophie suggested, excitement bubbling in her voice.
With their hearts set on solving the mystery, the siblings ventured into the woods, the map guiding their way. Elena led them, her resolve unwavering. "Do you think we'll find the answer today?" Max asked, his voice a mix of hope and doubt. "We have to try," Sophie replied, her optimism unyielding.
The siblings gasped as the clearing came into view, the morning sun illuminating the stones. Elena knelt down, brushing dust from the carvings. "This is it," she said, her voice filled with awe. "We've found where the castle belongs," Max breathed, a grin spreading across his face. "We did it!" Sophie cheered, the discovery cementing their bond.
