It was a sunny afternoon in Seville, Spain. My family and I decided to go on a trip to the mountains. We were a group of five: my parents, my younger sister, my cousin, and myself.
We were hiking along the Andalusian mountains, enjoying the fresh air and the landscape. Suddenly, we saw an abandoned village in the distance. It looked desolate, with broken windows and old walls. We were curious and decided to explore it.
As we got closer, we noticed that there was no one around. The village was completely empty, with no signs of life or activity. We felt a sense of fear, but we continued to explore it. We entered one of the houses, and we found some old furniture. We also found a diary, which belonged to a woman who used to live there. She wrote about how the village was once a happy community, but it was abandoned after a mysterious incident.
We were all feeling scared, curious, and intrigued. We didn’t know what had happened or what to expect. We were afraid of encountering something dangerous or supernatural. We were also worried about getting lost or injured, as the terrain was rough and unpredictable.
After a few minutes of exploring, my dad took control of the situation. He told us to stay together and be careful. He also suggested that we should leave the village and continue our hike. We agreed and left the village, feeling relieved and disappointed at the same time. We realised how risky it was to explore unknown places without proper preparation and equipment. We also learned that some mysteries are better left unsolved.
