Tommy and his friends Jack, Ellie, and Max rummaged through the junkyard, their eyes scanning for anything interesting. "Look at this old watch!" Jack exclaimed, holding up a dusty, broken timepiece. Ellie frowned, skeptical. "It's just junk," Max said, but Tommy couldn't resist the urge to press a strange button on the watch. Suddenly, a portal shimmered into existence before them, swirling with vibrant colors.
"We have to go in!" Jack shouted, eyes wide with thrill. "I don't know about this," Ellie hesitated, but it was too late as Max leaped forward with a laugh. Tommy followed, and soon all four were tumbling through the portal, feeling as though they were being stretched and twisted through time itself.
Tommy groaned as he picked himself up, looking around at the unfamiliar yet strangely familiar surroundings. "Where are we?" Max wondered aloud. "It looks like our town, but it's like... the real 1905," Ellie pointed out, her voice tinged with disbelief. Suddenly, two shadowy figures approached them, their presence ominous.
Scarface growled, "Hand over the watch, kids." "No way!" Ellie shot back defiantly. Glasses Guy tapped on his strange tablet, summoning a giant metal spider with glowing red eyes. "Run!" Tommy shouted, and they dashed frantically through the chaos of the streets.
"This way!" Max called, leading them through a maze of alleyways. They turned a corner and collided with an old man wearing a futuristic headset. "You must be the Time Riders!" he exclaimed. "The what?" Jack panted, bewildered. "Find the Lost Gear in the clock tower to fix time!" the old man urged.
Tommy climbed up, followed closely by Ellie and Jack, while Max struggled but was determined. "I found it!" Ellie cheered, spotting the gear. Scarface burst in, but Jack swung a metal pole, knocking him back. Max hurled a wrench, shattering Glasses Guy's tablet. "AHH!" the villains yelled as the spider exploded outside.
"Hurry, put it in!" the old man yelled from below. Tommy slammed the gear into place, and the watch glowed brilliantly. A loud WHOOSH echoed, and suddenly they were back in their own time, everything restored. "We did it!" Max celebrated. The watch blinked, hinting at new adventures. "Another adventure?" Ellie grinned, and with newfound excitement, they jumped into the portal once more.
