Momma Mouse bustled about the kitchen, her soft gray fur dusted with flour as she whisked up a bowl of batter. The kitchen table was set with acorn cups and tiny plates, while a kettle whistled gently atop the stove.
Little Mouse peered eagerly over the edge of the table, watching Momma Mouse as pancakes sizzled in a pan.
Daddy Mouse poked his head in, brushing snowflakes from his whiskers.
"Breakfast is almost ready, just in time for a busy day!"

Daddy Mouse shows Little Mouse how to push the snow into neat piles, their breath puffing in clouds.
"Look, Daddy! I can make a path all by myself!"
"That's my clever helper," Daddy Mouse replies, giving Little Mouse a proud smile as they work side by side, laughter echoing through the crisp air.
"Eat up, everyone! We have errands to run and the market will be bustling today,"
Little Mouse pours honey over his pancakes, grinning at Momma Mouse.
"Can we get candied chestnuts at the market?"
"We'll see if you're extra helpful," Momma Mouse winks.
Little Mouse[/@ch_2] struggles into his boots, nearly toppling over.]
Daddy Mouse helps fasten Little Mouse's scarf while Momma Mouse adjusts her bonnet. The door opens to a rush of cold air, making everyone shiver in anticipation.
"Ready for adventure?"
"Ready!"
Momma Mouse haggles for fresh bread, Daddy Mouse samples cheese, and Little Mouse gazes wide-eyed at a tray of candied chestnuts.
"Please, Momma? Just one?"
"Alright, but only if you promise to help carry the basket home,"
"I promise!" Little Mouse beams as he clutches his sweet treat.
Daddy Mouse sets the basket down, Little Mouse yawns, and Momma Mouse wraps her arms around them both.
"There's nothing better than a day spent together,"
"Especially in our little town,"
"And with candied chestnuts!" Little Mouse giggles, as the family snuggles close, safe and warm while the snow falls softly outside.
