On the farm where Farmer Joe loves to play,
The animals wake to greet the day.
Cow Clara in the barn moos with delight,
While Piggy Pete snuffles, pink and bright.
"Come and eat, my friends, it's time for your snack,"
Said Farmer Joe as he opened the sack.
Hen Hattie clucked and flapped her wings,
As seed and grain began to spring.
Lamb Lucy wanted to play a new game,
So she trotted off, calling Doggie Sam's name.
Sam, with a wag of his fluffy tail,
Chased after Lucy, down the grassy trail.
Goat Gary found a hill to climb,
Jumping and leaping, having a good time.
Horse Holly neighed from the pasture gate,
"Join us, friends, before it gets late!"
As the day ends, the farm grows still,
The sun dips low behind the hill.
Farmer Joe sits with his animal friends,
Sharing stories as the daylight ends.
With a yawn and a sigh, they snuggle tight,
Under the moon's gentle, silvery light.
"Goodnight, dear friends, sleep well and dream,"
Whispered Farmer Joe, as stars began to gleam.
